Background

Born into a cult, Aleus conception was not well received. Having upset the leaders years prior they took it upon themselves to declare the pregnancy a curse and a burden that they must bare to repent for the sins of their past lives. The baby was names Aleus to mark that he was to be avoided and shunned. The family were moved to the outer edges of the cult lands and told to remain isolated should their sin be an infectious blight upon holy lands. This is what lead Aleus' parents to confine him to one empty room with a window. blow that window was a radiator that he was chained to as he grew, somehow growing and surviving on one meal a day kicked over to him at a distance. There was no care or education, Aleus was as isolated as his name suggested and his parents weren't better off, often taking their angers out on him. So often that he became used to them. When the camp was raided by law enforcement that was when Aleus was found and taken immediately into intensive care due to his beaten and malnourished state. His name was never given due to his parents refusal to utter it and his lack of language skills. This led to him being referred to as John Doe, or his patient number 6655321Progress appeared to be slow but he seemed apt to learn things, starting with language and communication and after a while he was submitted to a psyche ward to start his social integration. This is where he was put under the care of a Psychologist named Ernest Hunt. And this is where we start our story.

What is
Solipsism?

Solipsism from Latin solus 'alone', is the philosophical idea that only one's mind is sure to exist. As an epistemological position, solipsism holds that knowledge of anything outside one's own mind is unsure; the external world and other minds cannot be known and might not exist outside the mind.[Source: Wikipedia][Writers Note]It is important to mention that although Solipsism is a real disorder, my character and his circumstances are purely fiction and are not meant to be taken as an accurate and real representation of the disorder. I am writing out of my own interests but keeping fiction in mind.
